Tasha, founder of Connext Care, has called Florida home for over 20 years after originally moving from Connecticut. She is the proud parent of a large blended family of nine children, four of whom are on the autism spectrum, ranging from low support needs to individuals who require more intensive care.
Through her personal experience as a parent, Tasha understands the emotional, physical, and financial realities that families face when caring for a loved one with developmental disabilities. She knows firsthand how important it is to find compassionate, reliable support that families can trust.
In addition to her personal journey, Tasha brings over two decades of professional experience working with individuals with disabilities, with a special focus on behavioral management and individualized care.
Her unique perspective allows her to see both sides of the support system — the parent who needs dependable care for their loved one, and the provider responsible for delivering high-quality services. She understands how deeply individuals, families, caregivers, and providers depend on one another to create successful outcomes.
This understanding is what led Tasha to build Connext Care around a person-centered approach. She believes that the right support begins with connecting each individual with staff who truly understand their needs, strengths, and goals.
By carefully matching individuals with the right caregivers, Connext Care strives to create an environment where individuals can grow, build independence, and live healthy, productive lives within their communities.
